Youth Singing Workshop with Jesse Smathers

Join us at the Handmade House on May 21, 2025 from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm for a Youth Music Workshop with Jesse Smathers. Cost is $20.
Jesse Smathers will offer a Singing Workshop in our Youth Summer Music Workshop. This workshop is designed for young musicians between ages 10 to 18 who are intermediate or advanced players. This workshop is open to all acoustic string band instruments.
This workshop will focus on how to find the right key for you to sing your song of choice in and how to explore what your vocal range is and working with harmony parts. Also we will talk about projecting, and enunciating when singing. Students should already be singing and playing several songs all the way through.
To register your young musician, click the registration link below, and then select the workshop your child wants to attend. Then you will be able to confirm the date of the session and enroll your child in the class.
A minimum number of 4 participants is required, so please register in advance. Our mission is to make these programs accessible to everyone, therefore discounts and scholarships are available! Please email Leigh at leigh@handmademusicschool.org if you have questions or challenges with registration!
