Youth Guitar Workshop with Jesse Smathers

Join us at the Handmade House on June 10, 2025 from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm for a Youth Music Workshop with Jesse Smathers. Cost is $20.

Jesse Smathers will offer a workshop called “Capos and Chords for Guitars” in our Youth Summer Music Workshop series. This workshop is designed for young musicians between ages 10 to 18 who are intermediate or advanced guitar players.

In this workshop Jesse will talk about the different chord families and using a capo to add different musical flavors to a song. He will teach which chord shapes to use in different capoed positions. Students should be familiar and comfortable changing all basic chord shapes on guitars.

To register your young musician, click the registration link below, and then select the workshop your child wants to attend. Then you will be able to confirm the date of the session and enroll your child in the class.
