Youth Clawhammer Banjo Workshop with Jared Boyd

Join us at the Handmade House on May 27, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm for a Youth Music Workshop with Jared Boyd. Cost is $20.
Jared Boyd will offer a workshop called “Learn a Tune on Clawhammer Banjo” in our Youth Summer Music Workshop series. This workshop is designed for young musicians between ages 10 to 18 who are intermediate or advanced banjo players.
In this workshop Jared will teach students to play two different versions of Lost Indian in the keys of D and A. Students should be able to play a handful of tunes on the banjo in both the key of A and D.
To register your young musician, click the registration link below, and then select the workshop your child wants to attend. Then you will be able to confirm the date of the session and enroll your child in the class.
A minimum number of 4 participants is required, so please register in advance. Our mission is to make these programs accessible to everyone, therefore discounts and scholarships are available! Please email Leigh at leigh@handmademusicschool.org if you have questions or challenges with registration!
