Handmade Music School Teen Program

Join us for our weekly TEEN PROGRAM at 6pm at the Handmade House (110 Talley’s Alley)!

This weekly program is designed for teens ages 13 to 18, and will alternate a focus on Old Time and Bluegrass music. Topics and skills within each genre will be shared and programming will be designed based on the skill level and interests of the students in the program. Activities like active listening, analyzing musical parts, recording, band dynamics and more will be included. Pre-Registration will be helpful and students can come on the week that they are most interested in (Old Time or Bluegrass) or both. 

Alternating weeks will focus on elements related to Old Time and Bluegrass music, although every week will be a fantastic time for teens to learn music skills and strengthen their community! For a full list of dates, see below!

Single Session Attendance

Come join us for any particular date that fits your schedule! To book a single session, use the button below to enroll!

Cost operates on a sliding scale – $10 to $20 per drop in session. You can pick your price point at registration.

Full Session Enrollment

To enroll in an entire six or twelve week session, contact us to register!

Program tuition will vary based on the enrollment model you select for your teen(s), as we will use a sliding scale for the longer session enrollment. See our registration form for more information.

Old Time Cohort: Sept 15, Sept 29, Oct 13, Oct 27, Nov 10, Dec 1 (no class the week of Thanksgiving)

Bluegrass Cohort: Sept 22, Oct 6, Oct 20, Nov 3, Nov 17, Dec 8
